An independent economic benefit assessment found that the development of the Ararat Hotel will not only provide a substantial economic boost and over 60 ongoing jobs, but also offer upskilling and career opportunities for local residents, improve and diversify accommodation options and support the post-COVID recovery of the Grampians region.

With the support of state and local government, CenturyDMS is developing the 101-room Horsham Hotel on the site of the old Horsham Fairways Resort, which was abandoned after the 2009 Black Saturday bushfire. A stone’s throw from Horsham Golf Club, the new Horsham Hotel will be an upscale – albeit understated – destination for business and leisure travellers seeking a blend of sophistication, comfort and convenience. The Horsham Hotel will be built to enable net zero carbon emissions. Our development designs ensure energy efficiency beyond minimum standards and meet CSIRO’s best-practice stormwater management standards, including rainwater harvesting and reuse, to avoid putting additional strain on the region’s natural resources.
